I have just purchased a new Canon ixus 100is camera and have now made several 100 photos.?

I have just purchased a new Canon ixus 100is camera and have now made several hundred photos.
All photos are of very high resolution and I need to somehow batch compress all the images. How can I do this? Any programs?
